OPENING HOURS
We are open
FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY
FROM 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
We work all year round, except for 3-5 working days when the preschool is open. Their exact dates are given to parents at organizational meetings in September.

We have four spacious rooms for our four preschool groups. This school year we have the pleasure of working with three-year-olds from the Sówki group , three-year-olds from the Zajączki group, four-year-olds from the Bears, and the oldest five-year-olds from the Liski (one-year preschool preparation – kindergarten).

ADAPTATION
The first days at the preschool are a challenge for both children and parents. At Big Little Things, we have developed an adaptation program that helps our preschoolers get into preschool life naturally, smoothly, gradually, and seamlessly.
- The first opportunity to meet other children and teachers is an integration picnic in Szymański Park organized in August.
- We also organize workshops with Dr. Aneta Babiuk-Massalska, our preschool psychologist. It is an opportunity to learn about the whole range of behaviors and reactions that can accompany children at the beginning of their preschool adventure. Parents will be able to ask questions and talk about their child’s individual needs, which are important for their child’s sense of security.
- The day before the start of the school year is the time for your child’s first visit to the preschool premises: viewing the classroom, their cubby, and the bathroom, as well as checking the symbols on the chair and shelf.
- The next day, we invite children and their parents to participate in integration activities. They last from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and consist of experiencing an “ordinary” preschool day together. We start with half an hour of classes, then there is breakfast, going outside and returning to the room.
- Again, we invite children to attend short classes, after which we have time to play. At 12.30 there is lunch. After lunch, the child can spend time at the preschool for an afternoon rest or return home with the parent. The next day, parents hand over their children to the care of teachers. Depending on the needs and abilities of the children, we adjust the further adaptation steps and discuss them individually with the parents.
COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS
Daily news about the course of the day is conveyed by teachers to parents when picking up their child. In addition, we also use the chat function in our Live Kid app.
We know that good communication is the foundation of your trustyou’re your relationship with us. Our employees are trained in the spirit of positive discipline and NVC (nonviolent communication) and use these methods in their daily work with children and in contacts with parents. The door to the director’s office is open to everyone who wants to share their concerns, comments or joys. We believe that this serves to create a good atmosphere and deep relationships based on the desire to co-create the best possible preschool for your child
